Fotos Abstractas 2466 - 2467 - 2468 Noche de corazones muertos - Night of dead hearts

Fruit skeletons,
glass tempting stillness,
bright colored frigidity.
No taste at all.

No skin, no flesh, no juice,
no core, no pips, no pulp,
but yet
pieces of fruit in flashy bear bones.

Green hollow pear,
red empty pepper,
yellow spinal banana,
orange tangerine peel,
pink watermelon slice...,
brilliant pieces leaning
on a blue broken ashtray
or
a blue full moon maybe
or
frozen ocean waves...?

The rests of a deadly wreck
where passengers and crew
have become crystallized still lives?
"Night dead hearts" as the artist
called them...?

Sculptured image
on a gloomy night,
- sadness and stupor -
a hungry dark night starving for stars...

Thank you for this beautiful poem Dulcina inspired by these pictures and post it on your blog.

I'm seeing things like a yellow hair clip, but I'm tasting blueberry, orange, lemon, strawberry and lime! :-) Wonderful colors! How do you DO these?! No, don't tell me - I love the magical mystery of it! :-)

Besos.

Hi Leovi,

I like the different colors here and they do seem to be used in a lot of the different celebration pictures I have seen. And in the third picture I see so many different figures who look to be hiding from the devil creature in there too. It is funny in that they are all looking at him too.

Thanks for sharing such a stormy picture with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. Hope you have a fun weekend.

God bless.

Great piece. The progression of the hearts from the vibrant first shot to the faded last shot truly match the title of your piece.
I liked the 1st one the most.

different from your usual but still beautiful.

Dulcina said...

The three images in color are brilliant, Leovi, as usual.
It looks like the crystallized skeletons of some pieces of fruit: a pear, a banana, an orange, a pepper and...the blue one? Well, maybe an ashtray!
"Dead hearts"? So sad! I prefer fruit, hehehe.
What about this title, "Crystallized still life" (maybe I´ll write a short poem about it)
:)))

Dulcina said...

This is the poem I've just written. While writing, looking at the image, I realized your title could be right:

Fruit skeletons,
glass tempting stillness,
bright colored frigidity.
No taste at all.

No skin, no flesh, no juice,
no core, no pips, no pulp,
but yet
pieces of fruit in flashy bear bones.

Green hollow pear,
red empty pepper,
yellow spinal banana,
orange tangerine peel,
pink watermelon slice...,
brilliant pieces leaning
on a blue broken ashtray
or
a blue full moon maybe
or
frozen ocean waves...?

The rests of a deadly wreck
where passengers and crew
have become crystallized still lives?
"Night dead hearts" as the artist
called them...?

Sculptured image
on a gloomy night,
- sadness and stupor -
a hungry dark night starving for stars...

:)
Note: I have already posted it, do you agree?
